The Institution of Fire Engineers,
maintain a register of fire risk assessors who have demonstrated to
the satisfaction of the IFE that they have a
combination of the education, training and knowledge and relevant
experience in carrying out fire risk assessments.
Our Fire Risk Assessors are continuously
enhancing their skills by attending courses and seminars and
communicate regularly with local authorities to be one step ahead of
legislation.

(Fire Industry Association) and were instrumental
in implementing a Code of
Practice throughout the fire industry to safeguard
the interests of the Responsible Person as defined in the Regulatory
Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
The Code of Practice is defined as:
"FIA members, who provide Fire Risk
Assessment, subscribe to a code of conduct to safeguard the
interests of those with duties and responsibilities under
UK
fire safety legislation in relation to fire risk assessments carried
out on their behalf by FIA members".
