Fire Signage

Clear guidance and direction will save lives in a fire emergency. Fire signage is therefore a vital part of fire evacuation procedures, and is also a key part of your compliance as a business with The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.

Here at ASCO, we supply a wide range of fire safety signs from leading brands, such as Jalite, and these include:

  • Fire exit signs/fire escape signs – Often green, they indicate a safe route, including the direction of travel
  • Fire equipment signs – Red in colour in line with the equipment they relate to
  • Health and safety signs – Blue signs featuring white text to offer mandatory precautions
  • Warning signs – Yellow, triangular and convey immediate hazards and fire risks

Other signage includes fire action notice signs, keep clear signs, safe condition signs and fire assembly point signs.

Fire Signage Systems in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Midlothian and Beyond

All our fire exit signs and fire signage systems adhere to BS 5499-10:2014 for the selection and usage of signs and they also comply with BS EN ISO 7010:2019 for the graphics and colouring. This means you have signs positioned in appropriate locations and complying with the relevant standards.
